According to Forbes listings, he is the richest Pakistani and 937th richest person in the world. Born to a rich Chinioti family, and spent his early childhood in Faisalabad. Mansha is on the board of nearly 50 companies  and is one of the most powerful and influential people in the country. He was awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz civil award by President Musharraf on 23 March 2004. One of Mansha's companies, Nishat Mills Limited, is the largest exporting entity in Pakistan.
In March 2010, Mian Mohammad Mansha became the first Pakistani ever to make it to the Forbes rich list.

Mian Muhammad Mansha is an entrepreneur in all senses of the word. Under his leadership, his business houses have achieved and defined industry standards in textile, banking, insurance and many others. He continues to inspire many business leaders of today, both in Pakistan and abroad.
